Lady Scots in First Place in AAC
The Lady Scots defeated Milligan College on Wednesday, Feb. 13, breaking the two teams’ tie at the top of the Appalachian Athletic Conference, with a win of 63-61. Lady Scots’ Lyndee Biles and Scots’ Dan Nielson, both Seniors, have been named AAC Players of the Week in February.

Student Senate Raises Funds for Tornado Victims at Union University
The Covenant College Student Senate is raising money from students, faculty, and staff, and will match all donations in order to make funds available for Union University students to purchase gifts cards to Wal-Mart and other stores to buy back clothes and possessions that were lost during the tragic tornadoes that ripped through Jackson, Tennessee last week.

Covenant College will host a BUILD campaign dinner at The Chattanoogan on Tuesday, February 26, 2008. Hors d’oeuvres will be served starting at 6:00 p.m. and dinner will begin at 7:00 p.m. The guest speaker for this event is Covenant’s 2007 Alumnus of the Year, March Bell ‘78, an internationally recognized attorney whose expertise in criminal justice and human rights issues has aided efforts to abolish human trafficking in over 30 countries.
